The Dinartica in brief

Cette course croisière en équipage se veut très ouverte et très souple. Elle s'adresse autant à des amateurs qu'à des skippers confirmés.

The Dinartica in brief

Whereas all the worldwide famous sailing races head for the South, the Dinartica casts off by taking the opposite path. Indeed, in this race, the objective is the Lofoten Islands in the Arctic Ocean.

Dinartica is an “à la carte” race with different formulas satisfying different boats and sailors profiles. Whoever you are and whatever are you are looking for, you can be part of this adventure.

le parcours de la Dinartica

The race

The Dinartica is dedicated to the over 35 feet long boats, according to the IRC ranking, 40 feet open, 50 feet open and 60 feet open.

The technical preparation and the race in itself are assisted by the National Union for Open sea Racing (UNCL) which guaranty a strict safety and a true sportive equity.

The winner will be rewarded with a car or a check of the equivalent amount of money.
(the ranking will be established on a round trip basis, according to the UNCL rules over compensated time regulation and ranking, with reservations on the number of participants)

The course

The Dinartica is offering two different courses in one!
You can either run for the way out or the way back, either for both.

First leg: departure from Dinart on the 23rd of July, arrival at the Lofoten Islands around the 30th. There you will have a few days of rest in order to seize the opportunity to discover this beautiful region before to engage on the way back.

Second leg: Departure from the Lofoten Islands on the 5th of August for those who are running the qualifications for the “Route du Rhum” and on the 9th of August for the others. Arrival in Dinart around the 20th of August.
