"Dear friends, dear sailors,

To live the beautiful DINARD seaside resort and to head to the Great North, where the sun never goes to sleep, this is what the Dinartica is all about, and this is the challenge the city of DINARD is taking up.

For this second edition, which will be the consecration of the prerequisite organisation and preparation work for this kind of race, the culminating point will be the sportive stake of the second leg, qualifying for the next edition of “La Route du Rhum”.

The very tactical itinerary in the Irish Sea, will force each concurrent to prove the level of its technical skills.

Both in DINARD and in Norway, the Race’s Village will give the opportunity to the hosting countries to communicate over their cultural patrimony, and on an economic point of view to increase exchanges.

Through this editorial I want to say a great Thank you to the Tourism and Water-sports professionals, because such event can only have great economical spin-off, and in general to everyone, French and Norwegian, that will support the city of DINARD in this wonderful challenge. DINARD, “the most beautiful European marine site”, will be proud to be the departure site of this second edition of the Dinartica.
