The competition is run according to the following effective documents :
- The International Racing Rules for Sailing-Boats 2005-2008, designated hereafter RCV, and the prescriptions of the FFV (French Sailing Federation). The race is run in the C category of the ISAF publicity code. Each sailing –boat will have to be in accordance with its national authorities on the right to bear advertisement aspect of its national regulation. The French concurrent will have to detain an annual right to bear advertisement attestation.
- The special OSR 2005 Category 1 regulation for every concurrent.
- The 2006 IRC tonnage regulation for the IRC mono-hull.
- The 2004 FICO special regulation, Category 1 for the 40, 50 and 60 feet-long mono and multi-hull.
- The 50 feet-long multi-hull class regulation for the 50 feet-long multi-hull that can conform to it.
- The present notification
The Race Instruction that will be provided at least on July 17th 2006.
The race is divided in 2 legs:
- First leg: DINARD – SVOLVAER (1,300 nautical miles). Departure in front of DINARD. Departure course defined in the Race Instructions. England will be left on the left. Arrival line in SVOLVAER.
- Second leg: SVOLVAER – DINARD (1,600 nautical miles). Departure line in front of SVOLVAER. England will be left on the left. Arrival line in DINARD.
- Concurrent can choose to participate to both legs or just to one of them.
